How to get the most from this form.

Use a product dropdown, not a text field

Dropdowns prevent spelling mistakes and make filtering submissions by product much easier. Update options when your product catalog changes.

Add validation to the quantity field

Set a minimum of 1 and a maximum based on your stock or order policy. Formiqa's number field supports min/max validation.

Collect shipping address as a single text field

A single 'Shipping address' text field is simpler than splitting into street, city, and postal code — unless you need to parse the address programmatically.

Be explicit about what happens after submission

The confirmation message should tell customers: when they'll receive an invoice, what payment methods you accept, and your estimated delivery time.

Can I use a form to collect orders without a payment processor?
Yes. Formiqa order forms collect order details and contact information. You can then invoice customers separately via your preferred method (Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer, etc.). This works well for B2B orders, custom products, or small volume e-commerce.
How do I notify myself when a new order comes in?
Enable email notifications in your form settings. Formiqa sends a notification to your email on every new submission, including all order details. On high-volume periods, you can switch to a daily digest.
Can I collect files with an order form?
Yes. Add a file upload field to collect design files, references, or customization specs from customers. Formiqa stores uploads on Cloudflare R2 with 1 GB free on the free plan.
