Best practices

How to get the most from this form.

Use section headings to organize long surveys

Formiqa supports heading fields that act as visual section dividers. Group related questions under clear headings to make long surveys feel manageable.

Mix question types strategically

Use radio buttons for single-answer questions, checkboxes for multi-select, and open text for qualitative insight. Variety keeps respondents engaged.

Front-load the most important questions

Completion rates drop as surveys get longer. Put your must-have questions first. Optional demographic questions belong at the end.

Make demographic questions optional

Age, role, and company size questions are useful for segmentation but feel intrusive when required. Make them optional to avoid drop-off.

FAQ

Common questions.

What's the difference between a survey and a form?
The terms are often used interchangeably. Technically, a 'form' collects specific structured data (applications, orders, registrations), while a 'survey' gathers opinions or measurements across multiple questions. Formiqa handles both — the same builder and field types work for surveys and forms.
Can I create a survey with branching logic?
Formiqa supports conditional logic — you can show or hide fields based on previous answers. This allows branching paths within a single form.
How many responses can I collect for free?
The free plan allows 10 submissions per form per month. For research projects that need more volume, Formiqa Pro ($26.90/month) allows 2,500 submissions per form per month with no per-response fees.
Can I analyze survey results in Formiqa?
You can view all responses in the submission dashboard and filter by field value. For statistical analysis, export to CSV on the Pro plan and analyze in Excel, Google Sheets, or any data tool.
Can I share my survey by link or embed it?
Both. Every published Formiqa form has a direct shareable URL. You can also embed it on any webpage using the embed code from the Share menu.
