Customize your form's appearance

Everything in the appearance panel: colors and presets, your logo, custom submit and thank-you text, custom CSS, and the 'Powered by Formiqa' badge — plus which parts are Pro-only.

Key points
  • You style a form in the builder's appearance panel: colors, logo, border style, custom messages, and custom CSS.
  • Colors (including custom colors), border style, and displaying your logo are Pro-only — locked on the free plan.
  • The text customizations — submit-button text, welcome message, and thank-you message — are available on the free plan.
  • A 'Powered by Formiqa' badge shows on public forms on the free plan and is removed on Pro.

Every form has an appearance panel in the builder where you control how the public form looks — its colors, your logo, the shape of its fields and buttons, the messages people see, and, if you need it, a custom CSS field for fine-grained tweaks. This guide covers each option and flags which ones require Pro.

Colors and presets

In the appearance panel you can set a primary color (used for buttons, accents, and highlights), a background color, and a text color. Ready-made color presets give you a coordinated palette in one click, so you don't have to pick each value by hand.

Logo and branding

You can show or hide your company logo on the public form and choose its position. The logo itself comes from your brand settings — set it there once and it's available to every form. Displaying a logo on the public form requires Pro and a logo saved in your brand settings; the border radius and border style of fields and buttons are also part of Pro styling.

Custom messages

You can rewrite the words on your form to match your voice. These text customizations are available on the free plan:

  • Welcome message — a short introduction shown at the top of the form.
  • Submit-button text — replace the default "Submit" with something like "Send my request" or "Book a call".
  • Thank-you message — the confirmation people see after they submit.

Custom CSS

For advanced control beyond the built-in options, the appearance panel includes a custom CSS field. Use it to adjust spacing, fonts, or details the standard controls don't cover. Because custom CSS can override the built-in styling, test your form after each change to make sure it still reads well on mobile.

The "Powered by Formiqa" badge

Public forms on the free plan display a small "Powered by Formiqa" badge. Upgrading to Pro removes it, so your form carries only your own branding. This is the single most common reason people upgrade for appearance — see plans and limits for what else Pro unlocks.

Frequently asked questions

How do I remove the "Powered by Formiqa" badge?
Upgrade to Pro. The badge is shown on public forms on the free plan and is removed automatically on Pro — there's no separate toggle to flip.
Can I use my own brand colors on the free plan?
No. Colors, including custom colors and presets, are a Pro feature. On the free plan forms use Formiqa's default palette, but you can still customize the welcome message, submit-button text, and thank-you message.
Where do I set the logo that appears on my form?
In your brand settings. Save your logo there once, then enable it (and choose its position) in a form's appearance panel. Displaying the logo on a public form requires Pro.
